                         International Security.

1975-1980      Diplomatic staff member of the Permanent Mission
                         of Chile to the United Nations Office and other
                         International Organizations in Geneva,
                         Switzerland.

1983-1986      Diplomatic Staff Member of the Permanent
                         Mission of Chile to the UN in New York.

1987-1988      Deputy Permanent Representative of Chile to the
                         International Organizations in Nairobi, Kenya
                         (PNUMA/HABITAT)

1988-1989      Embassy of Chile in Colombia, Representative of
                         Chile to the Permanent Commission for the South
                         Pacific (CPPS).

       Representative of Chile at various U.N. General Assembly
       sessions.

     - Member of the Chilean delegation to the 3rd U.N.
       Conference on the Law of the Sea.

     - Policy Coordinator of the Chilean delegation at the UN
       World Conference against Racism, Racial Discrimination,
       Xenophobia and Related Intolerance, Durban,  2001.

     - Participated in the coordination of contents of the World
       Summit for Social Development, the World Conference on
       Human Rights and the UN Millennium Summit.

     - Coordinator of the Chilean Delegation in the negotiation on
       the International Convention on the Rights of Persons with
       Disabilities.

     - Member of the Chilean Delegation to the OAS General
       Assembly between 2001 and 2009 (XXXI-XXXIX).

     - Submission of papers at different fora on multilateralism,
       UN Reform, Inter-American System, Academic Institutions
       and Universities.

     - Associate Professor and guest professor on International
       Civil Law.

     - Member of the Chilean Society of International Law.
